their traditionally low fares. To make your reservations, please
visit www.southwest.com or call (800)

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
The El Paso International Airport provides taxi, shuttle and
limousine service to the hotel. Generally, travel time between
the airport and the UTEP campus by taxi or car is 30 minutes.
Always allow extra time, though, especially during rush hour.
WEATHER AND ATTIRE
Mid September is one of the most pleasant times of the year in
El Paso. The air is crisp and clear, and the sun shines often.
Pack light slacks and layered tops for warm afternoons. You will
also want to pack a light sweater for the evenings. Business
casual attire is generally the norm for sessions, receptions and
parties. Remember, meeting room temperatures may be cool and
personal comfort zones vary widely. It is recommended that you
bring a light sweater to the conference sessions.
